Searching for the perfect (or at least workable) JOB CHART

I have been searching for a job chart or chore system that will work for my family. Here is my latest attempt: JOBOPOLY. It's an idea my husband's parents used when he was growing up. I'm hoping this will make doing chores a fun thing, as well as create some good habits for my kids.

I found this game board at the D.I. (a local second hand store) for $1.50. It is fun for the kids and smaller than regular Monopoly. It has just the right number of spaces for the jobs we could think of. We tried to pick specific simple jobs since our kids are between the ages of 7 years old and 4 months old. Here are the jobs we came up with for our house.

I am hoping the kids land on "Clean bunny cage with daddy" a little more often. :)

I am planning on adding velcro to the girls' pieces and to each square on the board so that the pieces will stay put from day to day.

The Chance cards work pretty well. Most of them just tell the kids to go to a certain square.

We'll see how this goes. Wish me luck!

Baby Shower Bingo "STORK"

I made this Bingo card for a baby shower I'm helping to plan. It's easy because everybody fills in the squares on their own card. I made one version with a word list and another without one in case you want to use your own words. It's a fun and easy game for a baby shower. It doesn't take much preparation and the players can sit and chat without having to use too much brain power on the game.
